DIY Hand-Bordered Correspondence Cards
Crane's sells some very nice hand-bordered correspondence cards, but at $20 + shipping + tax for a box of 10, they're not cheap.
But you can do almost as well by taking a 4x6 index card and applying a border with a felt marker. Just lay a sheet of paper beside the edge of the card (to make a clean border edge), find a marker with the desired color, and fill in the border.

Jon, if you want blank cards, check out cardblanks.com. They are actually based in Victoria so you can inspect the product.

Tip I learned from a design drawing class: start your marker 'off-page' to avoid the saturated points where you paused for half a second (which is usually when you start a line. Same trick you did to mask off the area with a piece of paper: just mask off up to the start of the line, and start your maker well on that mask then just glide onto the printable area.
