Proportional fonts for programming
Yesterday I mentioned the Consolas monospaced font from Microsoft (actually, some consider Inconsolata to be slightly better, and it doesn't require you to install Visual Studio).
Anyway, it's often a nice change to try a proportional font for programming. Here's Franklin Gothic Book, with the PLEAC color scheme from jEdit's Editor Schemes plugin.
