Keyboard keeps changing on me (Pocket PC)

If I set the input method (e.g. to MessagEase) on Pocket PC, sometimes
I find later that it reverts to the default keyboard, and I must set
the input method to the one I want again.

I get annoyed when this happens.

Is there a way to set the input method once and have it stay that way?
