Picasa + Flickr = Synergy

Flickr's free accounts impose a 10MB/month upload limit. The way around this (if you have Windows) is to use Picasa to email your photos to Flickr. Picasa will automatically resize your image down from say 300KB to 40KB. (Plus, it has a nifty Enhance button to do all the usual basic photo enhancements like colour correction, with one click).
