Voice-Over-IP Lands On Mac Desktops: Skype For Mac OSX Is Here! - RG News
Well it's not the video chatting you were looking for but let me say
that Skype (for Windows and Mac) has amazing, amazing quality for a
voice chat. I've chatted with a couple of friends in Japan and it's
like they're really there (my brother who was on the phone with me one
time said "Is ... is Takeshi visiting?").
And it's free.

Msgr M's homily
inviting the currently poor to your banquets
misplaced faith: "success", nationalism. Empty fulfilment.
fulfilling faith: love, action. Twofold command of love. All that is required to start: "Yes" (we believe).
Baptism = celebration of community, mystery of God, ancestors in faith.

How shall I live, knowing I will die?
My answer to this question up til now was: I will value the universal values of meaning, autonomy, connection, honesty, peace, physical well-being, and play.
I'm going to change it now to the following, influenced by the book "How Can I Help?": My need for meaning leads me to awareness, and my awareness leads me to Love's twofold commandment.

Yeah bro actually I would recommend Flickr - it's the latest and the
greatest thing. I don't use it myself, so if you do I'll be interested
in hearing how good it is.

I was hoping that the music would sound good today. Mom said that the guitar volume was good, but my voice was too quiet. I feel pretty frustrated because I want competence in music. Grrr.

To ensure that the unit tests are hitting all the code ...
... there are code-coverage tools (like the free JCoverage) that tell you which lines of code have been touched. (JCoverage has pretty red-green bar graphs).

If I could pick one JUMP improvement ...
Probably the single most important JUMP enhancement would be:
better performance (speed or memory)
Perhaps it would be worth taking a look at the Piccolo rendering
framework that some have alluded to.

I'm pleased with how today went. I checked over the grammar in one of N's school reports. It gives me meaning to help someone else. And at work I'm excited about a new project, because I want to exercise my competence in UI design, data modeling, and programming. I am proud of these skills. Now, to bed, nice and early.

I'm having trouble selecting hymns for this Sunday
Nothing jumps out at me from the song list I'm using
(http://www.npm.org/Planning/yearc/assumption.htm). Would you let me
know the four songs you select for Saturday, when you have them? I
might go with them, or they might at least give me inspiration to
select two.
